One of the most effective ways to truly give youth a second chance, is to send them abroad for an apprenticeship program, where they are given a clean slate and a fresh start in a new environment that is conducive to growth in a new way.

In 2018, we arranged for one of our youths to attend a one-year program in boatbuilding and other maritime skills at the International Boatbuilding Training College in England. He successfully completed this course, gaining specialized skills which have enabled him to be gainfully employed in the boat building industry ever since. Our goal is that we will be able to send more youth abroad in the following years for similar programs.
