Christmas Angels Program

K1's Christmas Angels Program

Christmas Angels

A unique, fun and special way to make a difference and give back during Christmas time! K1 Britannia Foundation works with vulnerable persons all over the island to create handmade angels. The weekend before Christmas, these angels — each one representing a child, teenager, or elder in need of love — go up on the large Christmas tree in Philipsburg.

The community is invited to visit the tree and pick an angel. They are then informed of the age, gender and a little information about the child, client or elder who made that angel with love. The sponsor then goes out and buys a gift for that person and upon their return will be given the handmade angel as a gift to take home and put on their mantle or hang on their Christmas tree.

In the following days, K1 hosts Christmas parties for institutions all over the island, and through entertainment, fun and presents, brings smiles and warmth to those in need of love during the season. Since Christmas 2014, the Angel Program has collected thousands of gifts for others while making Christmas memorable for those who have the chance to give and receive the gift of love.
